It is used in various forms: creams, ointments, tablets and injections.

Hydrocortisone is used in veterinary to treat skin conditions that include itching, redness, and bug bites as well for various alreging reactions. There are multiple application for use in human medicine, for example: adrenogenital syndrome, high blood calcium, thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, dermatitis, asthma and more.
